The Performance Management Line of Business (PMLoB) is an investment by agencies to jointly contribute to the creation of Performance.gov. Responding to the President's challenge to cut waste, save money, and better serve the American people, Performance.gov provides a window into the Administration's approach to improving performance and accountability. Performance.gov shows progress on the Administration’s efforts to create a government that is more effective, efficient, innovative, and responsive.
The PIC is the primary business owner of Performance.gov, working with agencies and OMB to develop its vision, create requirements, and track its use. Performance.gov is updated on a quarterly basis with data and information about progress on Agency and Cross-Agency Priority Goals and the quantitative impact the initiatives are having on American citizens, businesses, and other stakeholders.
